Introduction
The National Teaching Council is
pleased to announce to the general public, registration portal for the Ghana
Teacher Licensure Examination September 2024 is officially opened. Fresh
candidates can register for the Subject-Based GTLE. Candidates with Bachelor's
Degree from accredited Universities and Colleges can also register through this
portal.
How to Register for NTC Exams
Step 1: Purchasing
Your Index Number
Dial *77251#, then select option
4 to buy the index number for GH₵ 55.
Step 2: Get Your Index Number
Click on Verify Index Number and enter your index number, starting with the first two letters of your first name and surname to confirm your details.
Step 3: Purchase your Registration Voucher Dial *77251#, choose option 1
as Fresher and then upon verification, purchase a registration
voucher with an amount of GH₵ 455. You will receive an SMS
containing your SERIAL NUMBER and your PIN that would be used for the online
registration.

General Information:
- General professional knowledge is compulsory
for all candidates.
Specific Pedagogy:
- SHS Candidates: Select SHS Pedagogy.
- Primary & JHS Candidates: Choose Primary
& JHS Pedagogy.
- Early Grade Candidates: Select Early Childhood Grade Pedagogy.
Subject Specialty Area:
For SHS & JHS: Course taught to be chosen: Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Social Studies, English, etc.Primary & Early Grades: Under Content, select multiple subject content for either primary or early grades.
